Invasive Species Workshop – New Glarus Parks Commision

Please join us as we gather at Toffler’s Pub upstairs to
hear three different speakers on the topic of prairie
management and learn about both native and invasive
species. Come learn about why restoring and
maintaining these types of landscapes is important and
worthwhile. There will be discussion on the different
types of native plants that conservationists like Fil,
Jason and Matt are trying to educate residents to
promote. They will also talk about strategies for
controlling invasive plants that can reduce diversity by
overwhelming the ecosystem. Refreshments will be
